About D Marsz
Cleveland, Ohio native, Danielle Marzette, first started her passions in photography and journalism at the young age of 15. She was always very passionate and artistic but she mostly expressed herself in her journal. As a teen fresh in high school, Danielle found it very hard fitting in and making close friendships. During those times, she turned to her journal for comfort. It wasn't until her mother bought her her first professional camera that she found a new way to articulate her inner talents and passions and she even developed friendships with people that had the same interest. The rest was history. By her senior year in high school, she took a film and media class that would change the way she viewed her camera forever. She created her very first film, written and filmed by herself and another classmate. After winning the schools film project, she gained a confidence in her craft as a visual artist. She took her talents with her all the way with her to college to study Photography. She later changed her major to study Public Relations. While in the school of Communications, she also took part in the schools broadcasting television program to test her camera and journalism skills even further. After college, Danielle ventured into creating her own photography business. While the business was slowly growing, over the years, she took her time learning the business side of photography by shadowing other successful photographers in the city of Cleveland. It wasn't until 2020, due to the pandemic, that she decided it was time to go full throttle in her photography business and D Marzs Photography was born!
